វត្តដំរី ស || Wat Domrei Sor or White elephant pagoda

 

• វត្តដំរីស ត្រូវបានកសាងឡើងដោយមានគំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមពី ចៅពញា គទាធរ ធរណិន្រ្ទ ឈុំ ដើម្បីលាបំណន់ គ្រាដែល លោកបន់ស្រន់ព្រះអង្គ វត្តកណ្តឹង ដើម្បីសុំអោយលោក ជំទាវ អុីង ភរិយាធំរបស់លោកជាពីជម្ងឺ នៅគ.ស. ១៩០៤ ( ក្នុងរាជកាលនៃ ហ្លួង សិរីសុវត្ថិ ) ដោយជាង ញឹក និង ជាងសឿ ។
• ហេតុដែលដាក់ថា វត្តដំរីស ព្រោះលោកយក តាមដំរីឃ្លៀចដែលលោកចិញ្ចឹម ។

• Wat Domrei Sor was constructed by Chao Ponhea Koteatheak Toreak Nidra Chhum following his vows when he promised with the Buddha of Wat Kondeung that " If my wife Mrs. Ing won better soon from her illness. I promise I will establish a new pagoda ". This pagoda was established in 1904 ( the reign of King Sisowath ) by two Khmer engineers Mr. Nheuk and M. Sue .
• And named this pagoda as " Wat Domrei Sor " that he took from his white elephant.
